When I'm not in the classroom as an elementary art teacher, you'll usually find me with a camera in hand, exploring a new hiking trail, planning my next adventure, or documenting the people and moments that matter most.
My background in art education has shaped the way I see the world. I approach photography with both an artist's eye and a storyteller's heart, focusing on authentic moments, meaningful details, and the connections that make your story uniquely yours.
My style is documentary-inspired, blending digital and film photography to create images that feel timeless, emotional, and true to life. Rather than forcing moments, I believe in preserving them as they naturally unfold—capturing the laughter, quiet glances, happy tears, and everything in between.
Whether you're celebrating your wedding day, an engagement, or simply a season of life worth remembering, my goal is to create photographs that feel genuine, effortless, and deeply personal.
And if you're dreaming a little bigger, so am I. Some of my dream destinations to photograph love stories include the rolling countryside of Italy, the breathtaking landscapes of Zion National Park, the rugged beauty of Alaska, and the vibrant coastlines of Mexico.

My Why
I’ve always believed that art has the power to make people feel seen — and photography became the way I bring that belief to life. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something deeper: a way to preserve emotion, connection, and the quiet beauty in everyday love.
As someone who’s always been drawn to storytelling, I’m inspired by the way a single image can hold laughter, tears, and everything in between. I don’t just take photos — I capture the feeling of the moment so that when you look back, you can feel it all over again.
Photography, for me, is more than a career — it’s a way of honoring people’s stories. Every couple I work with reminds me why I do this: to celebrate love in all its forms and to create something that lasts far beyond the day itself.

– I’ll absolutely cry during your vows or proposal (and pretend not to).
– My camera strap is probably covered in dog hair (Pippin, my fur baby, pictured to the right).

My Approach
My style is a mix of guided and unplanned. I’ll give you prompts that make you laugh, move, or reflect — but I’m always watching for those little in-between glances you don’t even realize you’re giving each other. That’s where the real magic happens.
Each session, regardless of type, will have an inspirtational mood board created for your specific session. I find that the process of observing can help us grow both in front of and behind the camera.
